What is the difference between an internal magnet speaker and an external magnetic speaker ?

What is the difference between an inner magnetic speaker and an outer magnetic speaker? In fact, the inner magnetic speaker and the outer magnetic speaker are just a small category under the moving coil horn, but many people don't know how to distinguish the inner magnetic type and the outer magnetic type. Now let XDEC speaker tell you.

External magnetic Speaker

As the name suggests, the outer magnetic speaker can be seen on the outside with a circle of black magnets sandwiched between the T-yoke and the washer. Generally, it is larger and higher in height, which is easy to attract iron. Features: The external magnetic horn is easy to be interfered by the external magnetic field (but shielding can be added to eliminate the interference). It uses more materials and is heavier, but the sensitivity is higher.

Internal magnetic speaker

The reason why it is called an internal magnetic horn is because the magnet of the speaker is wrapped in the shell, so no magnet can be seen on the outside of the speaker, and under the condition of the same size, the internal magnetic speaker is relatively small and flat, with a bottom Will not attract ironware. Features: Less interference by external magnetic field, short magnetic circuit, less ferromagnetic material, lighter weight, not easy to leak magnetic, but it is difficult to form a strong magnetic field, and the sensitivity is also low.

Compared with external magnetic speakers, internal magnetic horns are smaller in size, anti-interference, and more durable, and are mostly used for small-caliber speakers; while external magnetic horns are cheap and have higher sensitivity. Large-caliber speakers basically use external magnetic magnets.
